Belmont Hotel Manila opened its fifth Lobby Art Exhibit, Hiraya: Crafted Visions by Josso Baldera final twenty seventh February; the exhibition is ongoing till twentieth April.
The exhibition marks a big milestone within the lodge’s dedication to showcasing the richness of Filipino tradition and supporting native artists.
Crafted Visions options the exceptional three-dimensional works of Josso Baldera, a younger, gifted artist whose items discover themes of life, nature, and the human expertise.
Each sculpture serves as a strong visible narrative, inviting audiences to replicate on the sweetness and complexity of our world by the lens of Baldera’s creativity.

A portrait of a younger artist
Baldera’s creative journey started underneath the mentorship of the famend artist Angelito Cacnio, with whom he apprenticed for almost a decade.
During this time, he honed his craft, studying the intricacies of sculpture whereas creating his personal distinctive fashion. His perseverance, coupled along with his inherent expertise, helped him transition from apprentice to artist, making him capable of create items which are each visually gorgeous and deeply significant.
Baldera’s work has been featured within the e book Alphabet of Filipino Contemporary Artists: Volume 2 by Lander P Blanza.
This is excellent proof that the younger artist’s work will proceed to achieve recognition for its depth and creative significance.
